Kilauan Emas is returning after 7 years hiatus in the limelight with a new and refreshed tagline – Otai Kembali Berbisa!
Kilauan Emas is a singing talent search reality show that has been broadcasted for 6 seasons on Astro Prima. This show aims to discover talented individuals aged 45 and above who have passion for performing classic songs and shine on stage, taking you back to the good old days. Watch our contestants perform their hearts out and shining on our golden stage!
There will be judged by 3 Permanent Juries who will provide 70% of the overall evaluation, while 20% from the Public Juries & 10% from the votes of the home audiences. The 2024 Kilaun Emas Champion will take home a cash prize of RM30,000!
This brand-new season of singing show will be carried out in few phases:
1. Video Submission on WhatsApp
- Open to all Malaysians aged 45 and above. Participants are required to submit their 1-minute singing videos on WhatsApp from 8 July – 27 July 2024.
2. On-ground Audition
- The Top 20 will be shortlisted to proceed to the final audition. Audition will be commenced from 3 August to 4 August 2024 at SACC Mall, Shah Alam.
3. TV LIVE Show
- After the auditions, the Top 12 will be shortlisted to proceed to the LIVE main show which will be broadcast on Astro Prima (Channel 105) for eight weeks. Episode 1 will be simulcast on both Astro Prima (Channel 105) and Astro Ria (Channel 104).
4 The Finale
- Top six finalists will be competing on the Grand Final. The one with highest marks will be crowned as champion!
