2025 Mid-Year Offer
Terms & Conditions 

Validity: ​

  • The 2025 Mid Year Offer is open to all advertisers across TV, Radio and Digital platforms. It is only applicable for NEW bookings with campaign dates running between 1 May 2025 to 31 July 2025.​
  • Packages featured under the SME Exclusive Section for 2025 Mid Year Offer is only applicable for registered SMEs in Malaysia.​
  • Radio ROS Packages are limited to one (1) package per advertiser.
  • The free package must be of equal or lower value than the paid package. All free or bonus entitlements must be claimed together with the paid campaign under the same media order and must be utilised by 31 Jul 2025, failing which any unused bonus entitlements will be void. Astro shall not be liable for any unclaimed bonus spots due to whatever reasons. ​
  • All spots in the package must be booked under one (1) media order. ​
  • Package booked is non-cancellable and non-transferable. A 100% surcharge will be imposed upon any cancellation. ​
  • Availability of packages is based on first-come, first-served basis. ​

​Pricing & Taxes: ​

  • All prices are exclusive of Government Tax and are subject to an 8% Service Tax, if applicable. ​
  • The investment cost is subject to production cost(s), such as LPF cert application fees, voice-over talent charges, etc. These costs shall be advised by Astro in accordance with campaign brief. ​
  • Complimentary production for a 30 sec TVC under the TV Xtra is capped at RM9,000; for a 15 sec TVC under the SME Addressable Ad Package is capped at RM7,000, any additional production cost beyond these caps will be borne by the advertiser.​

​Commercial Materials: ​

  • TV: Video commercial materials to be submitted via TVCXpress/AdStream with min. of five (5) working days prior to campaign live date. ​
  • Digital: ​
    – All pointers, directions and visuals to be provided by advertiser and is subject to Astro’s final approval.​
    ​- Video commercial materials to be submitted via email with minimum of five (5) working days prior to campaign live date.​
    – Strictly no changes of pictures, caption or write up on article and social post after it goes live OR there will be a 100% penalty for any changes.​
  • Nu Ideaktiv (NI): Final materials must be submitted at least ten (10) working days prior to the campaign live date.​
  • Astro reserves the right to reject any materials deemed unfit for broadcast or re-edit the materials if necessary. ​

​Package Entitlements: ​

  • For Addressable Advertising packages, impression allocation will follow a 35:65 ratio by default, with 35% on VOD and 65% on TV Linear upon inventory availability of targeted audience segment. Free package will be 100% impressions on TV Linear. ​
  • For all NI packages under SME Exclusive:​
    – Package is inclusive of Guaranteed KPI(s) and production cost of final material(s). Category barring is not applicable. ​
    – Consultation on ideation, storyline and brand tag-on (logo bug, crawler, product placement & handling) deemed suitable for the selected IP’s audience.​
    – Subject to, but not limited to, video titles currently run on the selected IP, which includes the existing format, duration, look & feel, concept, talent etc. ​
    – 1-day shoot at 1 simple location (outdoor/residence/in-house studio). Outstation shoots will incur additional costs, subject to location, mileage, lodging etc. Minimal props (client products and existing on location props) and basic makeup. No major setups allowed. ​
    – Two (2) rounds of material revisions are included; a third (3rd) revision will incur additional editing costs, to be advised based on the complexity of the requirements.​
    – Any additional requests (e.g., specific talent, venue) will incur additional costs.​

​Utilisation of Package Entitlements: ​

  • For High Impact Packages: All TVC spots will be scheduled one (1) spot per hour at Astro’s discretion and are subject to airtime availability and in the event of unexpected national breaking news and any unpreventable incidents resulting from Acts of God. ​

​Scheduling and Availability: ​

  • All TVC spots are scheduled at Astro’s discretion and are subject to airtime availability. ​
  • Astro reserves the right to block certain dates and/or special programming (e.g. Festive, Key Signature Programme, etc.). During these specific periods, which may include festive blackout periods or premium rated programme durations, all package entitlements will not be applicable. ​

​Confidentiality & Other Provisions: ​

  • The creative concepts contained in this document have been developed by Astro. All elements as described above remain the property of Astro and shall not be used or duplicated, in part or in whole, in any form whatsoever. ​
  • This agreement is private and confidential, no content herein shall be divulged to parties other than the intended agency and client. ​
  • Astro reserves the right to amend any of the above pricing categories and/or its time belts from time to time. ​
