Hosted by Nabil Ahmad (Best Host in Asia) and Douglas Lim (Malaysia’s King of Comedy), the Astro Universe 2024 Upfront event brought together over 400 industry peers, mainly consists of senior marketers and agency professionals, for an extravaganza showcase and networking dinner.
With a 100-min special edition of the nation’s top entertainment show, MeleTOP, we unveiled a treasure trove of new content IPs set to make waves in 2024 and showcased the infinite possibilities for brand integrations.
Nearly 20 celebrities graced the event, including the masterminds behind the most talked-about Projek: High Council, Anwari Ashraf and Zulaikha Zakaria; award-winning drama actress, Emma Maembong; our A-list movie lead actor, Syafiq Kyle; our renowned radio announcers: Jentzen from MELODY, Roy Azman from SINAR, Raj and Calista from HITZ; winners from our top singing reality shows across 3 key languages: Ara Johari, Arulini, JJ Zheng 郑综宪, Putera and Suki; talented street dancers from Battleground: Road to Gold; and the highly popular kids characters like Didi & Friends, Pinkfong & Baby Shark, Omar & Hana, Cocomelon (the siblings JJ, Yoyo, TomTom), and Super Nabil.
Our foyer was abuzz with interactive booth activities, inviting guests to explore our world-class content across six touchpoints in our ONE ecosystem: Listen, Watch, Read, Influence, Experience and Shop!
